The Lithuanian businessmen are planning to open a branch in Armenia

The official representative of the Development Foundation of Armenia in the Baltic states Rena Saribekian organized the working visit of the co-founder of «CID» and «Amalva Group» companies Aidas Kavaliauskas to Armenia and presented the potential of the Armenian IT sector. The visit was organized with the support of the Ambassador of Armenia to Lithuania.

The Lithuanian businessmen, accompanied with the DFA’s Trade and Investment Manager Stepan Avagyan, held a number of meetings and got acquainted with the ecosystem in IT industry, as well as with the procedures for establishing companies in Armenia and the capacities of the Armenian specialists.

Aidas Kavaliauskas announced the intention to open a branch in Armenia in cooperation with the local specialists.

The representatives of 3 more Lithuanian companies familiarized themselves with the potential of the Armenian IT industry during the “DigiTec” technological exhibition. The project director of “InfoBalt” company Monika Poskute presented the opportunities for involving Armenian companies in the EU’s Eastern Partnership projects.
