Steven Samuelian appointed as the Honorary Representative of the DFA in the USA
The public figure Steven Neil Samuelian has been appointed as an Honorary Representative of the DFA in the USA.
Mr. Samuelian began his political and civic involvement in Los Angeles in 1982. During his career he has organized and hosted events for many elected officials at the federal, state, and local levels. Steve’s family has been active in civic, charitable, and political activities in the Los Angeles region for almost 80 years. Steve is currently serving his third term on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the Los Angeles County Business Federation (BizFed) one of the largest business organizations in the U.S. BizFed is composed of many Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies as well Chambers of Commerce and Trade Associations. Steve also is the Founding Co-Chairman of the Ambassadors Program at the Unruh Institute of Politics housed at the University of Southern California (USC). The Ambassadors Program is a group of thirty five top business leaders from throughout Southern California.
“The motivation for joining the DFA is to help the homeland. My aim is to raise awareness of Armenia’s economic development opportunities to major American companies with which I have strong ties” – noted the DFA’s newly appointed Honorary Representative in the USA Steven Neil Samuelian.
